25th Annual Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival

Be your own little Elephant! Inspired by the film Naledi: A Baby Elephant’s Tale, this two part workshop includes elephant themed mask making and movements. We will begin by screening the trailer of Naledi: A Baby Elephant’s Tale for inspiration. Young artists will  make a unique elephant mask, then with our masks, we will move into a fun and interactive movement workshop where we will “act” like elephants! All ages are welcome to attend (each child under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult). This workshop is first come, first served with a maximum of 15 participants. FREE!  In this unique workshop, we will watch 50 Birds, 50 States: Arkansas featuring “MC             Mocktalk the Northern Mockingbird,” who shows “Barry the Bald Eagle” around the Natural State. Young artists will then design their own hip hop style flat bill hat with images from the film and their surroundings. With hip hats and cool caps complete, we will move on to a freestyle rap and spoken word workshop where participants will learn to bust rhymes like the pros. All ages are welcome to attend (each child under 6 years of age must be accompanied by an adult). This workshop is first come, first served with a maximum of 15 participants. FREE!
